​Patient Care Coordinator
Job Description:
The patient care coordinator helps to recruit, coordinate/schedule, and continuously foster a positive patient experience.
​
Job Responsibilities:
-
Answer patient phone calls (answer patients’ questions, direct clinical questions to medical staff, schedule patients, reschedule and/or cancel appts as needed)
-
Patient Intake Process (ensuring a simple/convenient patient intake experience - aka collecting patient paperwork via online forms prior to their appointment)
-
Patient Scheduling (managing the patient schedule to ensure the providers’ schedules are fully optimized)
-
Patient Follow-Up Scheduling (scheduling patient follow-ups and return visit reminders)
-
Check-In/Check-Out (check patients in and out on days we are in the clinic - this includes checking them into EHR, collecting any outstanding paperwork or payment, and scheduling follow up appointments)
Skills:
-
Customer service experience (personable and informative with patients)
-
Stellar communication skills (excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital to the the reputation of the clinic and positive interactions with patients)
-
Proficient with email, spreadsheets, Gmail/Google Drive, and learning new software (such as the scheduling system through the EHR)
-
Online marketing experience is not necessary, but would be a huge plus
Please Note:

This is a contract position and therefore will be paid on an hourly basis as a 1099. This is not considered part-time or full-time employment, and therefore does not include benefits. As a result, you will be responsible for reporting and paying all income-related taxes.

Hourly rate is negotiable based on candidate’s experience
-
Wednesdays are when we are in the clinic and therefore you would need to be available to work in-person that day. Usually it’s only a half day, but this could be more or less depending on the number of patients we have that week. All other work will be completed from home (however, we ask that you answer the clinic’s phone as much as possible. If you miss a call, we would expect all patient calls to be returned within 24 business hours.)

The weekly hours are variable, but on average is 10 hours per week (about 3-5 hours in the office on Wednesdays and the rest from home). Depending on the candidate’s skill set, these hours can be increased if so desired.

Medical Assistant (Contractor/Flexible/PRN)
Job Description: Experienced medical assistant who is highly skilled with phlebotomy to support physician and/or physician assistant at private medical clinic.
Job Responsibilities:

Room patients, complete patient intake in EHR, and assist provider as needed
-
Blood draws for regenerative medicine procedures (platelet-rich plasma - PRP)
-
Lab responsibilities: spin blood in centrifuge to concentrate platelets and prepare syringes with PRP (training will be provided)
-
Monitor supplies and make requests as needed
-
Provide positive patient interactions and overall experience
-
Communicate patient scheduling needs (including follow-ups) to Patient Care Coordinator
-
Maintain a clean medical environment at all times (e.g. sanitize rooms and equipment between patients
Skills:
-
High-level of customer service experience (personable and informative with patients)
-
Excellent communication skills with patients, medical providers, and fellow staff members
-
Stellar organization skills (ability to multi-task and keep the clinic on schedule so patients are not experiencing extensive wait times)
